hi to everyone, some weeks ago i started the work for iron cross and other SA element as planche press to hs. i'm feeling great, i don't feel tension in my tendons or soreness in the following days.

at the beginning i've started using a chair to support my legs BUT when i tried the isometrich with partner assistance i feel a different sensation. i decided to shift onto the pulley system now that i have 2 pair of rings.

symply i'm using the approach of the basic strength (12 weeks cycle). do you think is sensated or is better a SSC?

i'm currently using 20 kg on the pulley, in your opinion how is a correct amount of weigth that i can remove from the pulling after the 12 week cycle?

thanks for your opinion

Alex

I would probably not take off more than 2-4 kg.

Alessandro Mainente

sounds good..probably i would have used 1 kg, so i'll use an average

Cory Fair

I'd go conservative like the 1kg. The amount of time lost by removing too little is far less than what you'd lose by taking off too much and becoming injured.

I've generally used 5#/2.2kg increments.

thanks for your opinion. by the way i'll continue to work over low rings on introductory elements until str planche on rings is solid
