Hey coach iv been reading into you forums and article for the last couple of days and I like what i see, so let me just get down to the point

Iv been into fitness for about 2 years now(been reaserching for about that long when it comes to nutrition and physical conditioning) and have been a huge fan of not only training with weights but also calistinics as well and have been reaserching different ways of training such as one of my favorites called muscle logic by charles stanley and elastic steel by paul zaichik and am going to be getting your book along with some rings, anyways i was wondering if you had any impute on combineing both weight training with some calistinics work because im my opinion the combination of what i call inner strenght and outer strenght ( aka the guy who held 60 pounds of weight on a iron cross) serves a very good purpose atleast in my book when it comes to the art of strenght training( i know there is some way that certien people train that makes them better at it)

atm iv only seen this in my train

ing with my abs ( i can both do sit ups on a slanted bench without touching the bench with 100 pounds on my chest no problem and do pretty good legs ups slow and controlled and can hold them out for about a minute). Should i just implament both fast high tension and slow controlled tension along with static hold variations of both cals and there weight double (something im doing nowbut am still exparementing with it). Im currently doing a futigue managment program ( aka i try to get as many reps as possible in 15 minutes using antagonist exersices while doing half of what i could aka if i could do 10 i stick to 5 while doing a little bit more work every single time i go in there) and a program with less volume

any inpute would be good or if i just need to read your book when i get it would be cool too

if this seems kind of jumbled please excuse me i was in kind of a hurry when i was typeing this

Im also starting my ACE certification so if you have any impute on what i should persue and how i should persue getting started in that perticualar field ( if you have any) would be much appreciated (the more information the better).

would just like your input as anything helps

thanks

Spelling and grammar would help.

IMO it's pretty easy to combine weights and bodyweight as I have suggested in other threads. Most bodyweight work tends to come for upper body but some for lower body. Then you can integrate the heavy weights in as you need to especially for legs. If want to do overhead pressing then sub it in for any handstand pushup variation, same with things like rowing/front lever pullups -> bent over rows and such. Pistols, sprintings, etc. can be replaced with squats, DLs, Oly, whatever.

lol sorry I typed that kind of fast

Iv been mimicing the 6 as i call it. ( there the 6 range of motion excerecises that are antagonist to other which includes handstand press/pullup, dips/rocket aka the upside down pullup, and body press/body row)

Right now the hardest are sholder presses and the body row. (you have to get your elbows past your body)

Just looking for input.
