Hey gang,
Does anyone have info on the mobility portion for the hollow back progressions? Also, any creative ideas on side lever progressions and mobility? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Anyone sent vids to coach yet?

We didn't do the HB mobility at this last seminar or the SL progressions so I have nothing official on those. As for the video's we are waiting to submit them. Coach will be letting us know when all is ready for those.
Ok some un-official post.
Zach has some good advice there. I really like Saxon-side-bends. This is where the weight is held over head for your side bends. If you've never done these start light and go slow. DB's work great keep those arms in alignment. If straight legs are too hard then by all means as the book says bend at the knees. The negatives are great, though I do like to add some pulling just to get a feel for it also.
I love saxon bends, but use them as a progression for handstand flags rather than side lever
Ideally in the side lever, and even side lever presses the back should stay pretty straight with little to no bend at the waist. The issue is keeping tight rather than bending from the side, though you can use a bit of side bend to cheat the movement. A lot of the chinese pole guys either bend from the waist or the top arm to make the movement easier.
Anyway, that's my two cents
here's some proof to back it up:
hah, don't think we need much proof Yuri. Your two cents is always worth much more, thanks.
Thank you.
- Mobility is still being adjusted somewhat for the HB and SL series.
- To SL training, my preference is for you to first master all of the BtGB lower back exercises beginning with archups etc, then the RLL variations and finally progressing on to the oblique variations prior to beginning specific SL training.

Beautiful stuff Yuri!
