Hey GB

I'm a newbie here and just need to make sure my support is right so any comments are greatly appreciated!

Are my hands turned out far enough and should my forearms be touching my body or further away?

Also it tends to hurt my elbow around where the biceps tendon goes on your forearm. Has anyone got any advice about how to prevent it or strengthen them? I've tried the novel movements in the elbow/wrist prehab thread but they didn't seem to have much effect for me unfortunately!

Thanks guys, amazing website you've got here!

Hi Oggy!

I think your RTO is "far enough" on the video. But touching your body is wrong. IMO you should begin with PB support hold, especially if you feel that pain in your elbow. If you play with ring supports, do ring plank first. Don't run.

You need to be careful if you are feeling it there at this stage.

Have you done the more basic preparatory elements? E.g. Plank, Frog Stand, Tuck Planche...

Thanks for the quick responses guys!

I have done plank and basic frog stand so far, trying to work on advanced fs.

Should i do ring plank with RTO then?

Do you experience this pain when you keep the rings parallel? Also, how long have you been doing the prehab/rehab?

No pain when parallel, just when my elbow is pushed forward from turning the rings. Did the prehab stuff for about 3 weeks, should i try for longer?
