Your kickup is sloppy. How is your form against a wall? Can you pull off the wall and hold for a decent chunk of time?

Straighten your legs when you kickup. And I'm pretty sure your hands are too wide

It's obvious you haven't read through the handstand forum at all.

From my limited knowledge, your hands are very wide. You're kicking up from a lunge position, walk your feet much closer to your hands so you don't have to kick up as far. Let's see a picture/video of a wall handstand and then we can correct form.

OK well to start off the first major problem is the wood chips since they are not a flat surface your hands need to readjust twice as much as normal so you make it 10 times harder on your self! the best way when choosing a good surface to practice handstands on is to ask your self if i was just learning how to walk would i try to learn on this? Flat no bumps or curves soft so the grass right next to you is your best option.

So with that out of the way your next issue is your taking a step... without leaving a 6 page comment about how bad that is I'll just say you should instead try to roll out verses trying to step with your hand(also why wood chips is a horrible idea) what rolling out of your handstand will do it give you an extra 1-2 secs to re-balance on your hands when i was first learning i could hold a handstand for several seconds then when a friend told me that i then went from 1-2 to around 15 second handstand

Lastly when you try to say balance on a ledge you line your body up feet directly under your knees under your hips, shoulders so on and in your handstand your arms are behind your body... so of course that re distribution of your body weight in front of your hands will make it once again harder to balance so to correct this(YOU WILL LOOK DUMB AT FIRST) stand up as straight as possible then put your hands by your arms by your ears so your bicep should be touching your ear now reach your arms up as far as you can pretend your trying to touch the sky and what this does is force your body to align better so you can stand better on your hands

once your in this position spot were your putting your hands and start your handstand and kick up into it don't worry about putting to much power in that is your problem of kicking up and not going all the way and coming back down and say your fears come true and you completely over do it just roll out and retry but using the roll method you most likely will not need to.

have fun and good luck! by the way nice name :P

The main thing you want to focus on is stomach to wall HS right now. becasue you are obviously not ready for freestanding. You were also doing it on a odd surface so you. it seems to me that with most of the things you ask questions about you might be rushing into. The video you jsut posted is a prime example. IF you stick to stomach to wall handstands for a couple of months it will train your line and you will be able to strat practicing free standing after that. the way you are doing it now, it just basically confirming that even if you hold the HS it will be in bad form.
