I used to do bridges easily as a small child. When I tried to do it recently however, I got wicked cramps that seemed to come from under my right scapula. I've tried doing some variations with hands on higher surfaces but the same problem occurs. I've tried foam rolling and some lax ball-rolling to no avail. I know that the attitude towards cramps here is pretty much "make a face" but I'm worried about damaging something. Anyone encountered this before?
Cramps during Bridge

Most likely there your shoulders just need to get stronger in the position. Cramping isn't necessarily bad if they go away quickly after you come out. Nevertheless, putting your hands on a higher surface is only going to demand more from the shoulders, you should instead try putting your feet up on something.
