coaches/moderators/athletes,

i was testing my HLL for flaws and under-developments, and was curious if is worth training currently. its an 'over-grip'..(not under). wanted to use it to build to a 5x5..

feels a like i'm lacking both some flexability and strength. is it worth training this ROM or if or should i step back and get stronger in previous variation? any thoughts/comments/critiques/cues?

thanks in advance!

Something that has helped me and might help you is to do a weighted pike stretch for the hamstrings (make sure your hamstrings are stretching and not so much the lower back) then do several of these hanging leg lifts right after with a 3-5 second hold at the top. I can now touch my feet to the bar fairly easily.

thanks alex, i was working the weighted-pike just prior to each set, just as you suggested, def helped with the flexability aspect. love the idea of holding that top position for 3-5s.. much appreciated!

I hope to see a video of you getting full ROM soon!
