I´ve been messing around with pbars for a month or so, and been working on my support swing, swinging into handstand, and hs pirouettes, and been improving quite a lot lately. I practice pirouettes mainly on a set of wooden parallets cause im not that good at those yet so working them all the time on pbars could be disastrous at the moment, hehe :)

Id like to learn (glide) kip to support and peach to support, and was wondering is there something i should master first before trying those skills?

My "goal" for now would be able to construct some sort of routine consisting of kip/peach to support, hspus, swings, pirouettes and press to hs.

Would it be wise if i just start training these progressions along with the glide kip?

edit: i train about 2,5 to 3,5hours for 5-6 times per week. That includes my warmups and the almost excessive stretching/flexibility work im doing atm after my skill/strength work.

Well, i was expirenting with PTS for the first time today, and it felt actually pretty good.

Heres a short clip of couple of my first attempts, feel free to comment. Even though they look kinda terrible, it actually felt quite good and im looking forward progressing towards the real deal.

for both, work a lot on basket swings ( inverted compressed pike)

I would recommend learning a single rail glide Kip and jam from a glide into support ( instead of toes to bar, toes between hips and bar rising to support in L on top of the bar. look it up on YouTube.
