i found this video on youtube. there are some concepts in the video where they are combining different exercises and the pull up where they go from one side to the other i thought was an interesting idea. are any of these concepts good to use to mix things up or are they pretty much just shows of strength?

You see that motion in the flag at 4:40....that's what I did when my left shoulder went RRIIIIIPPPPPP! Be careful  These guys are pretty strong though. The PL and mutated HeSPU need some work, but who am I to speak, I'm doing well to grap something off the top shelf at the moment! Alot of the MU and pulling variations are just multi-planar FBEs. If you have Coach's book he has a whole section on multi-planar exercises (multi-planar= i.e. push pull in one rep like a muscle up). They are very benificial to work once you have obtained the strength. Those crazy pullups from side to side are definitely awesome and seem very beneficial to help build MU transition strength.

Some call these Climber's pull ups.

The side to side is a great delt work. You can start to train them by assuming a normal pull up, but instead, pull in the direction of one hand, then the other. Some call these Climber's pull ups. Just be careful when starting them.

ya it looks like if you rush these you could really hurt yourself, but that is like alot of the workouts we do.

ya i couldnt do that motion to save my life at the moment, but i always take it easy on my shoulders, learned that the hard way in baseball. ya i am working on the mulit plane movements, i just noticed that these were a bit different from what coach has and didnt know if they are some advanced ways to combine movements or if it is just a cool way to show off what they can do. but yes i did notice that they seemed to have some poor form on some of the movement as well, but they can still do it better then i can so i cant judge.
