cauchy
When doing a false grip hang, as in the start of a muscle-up, my arms are not in line with my shoulders and hips, they are infront of them. If I to force them to be in line, I can no longer do a muscle-up, and I can't hold it for as long. This is with my arms fully extended.
Ian Legrow
Are you in the full dead hang position when you start?
cauchy
Yes. The rings are at a height that I can just reach them and get into the false grip on the tips of my toes.
Coach Sommer
Excellent observation. This is due to both your forearms and shoulders being tight. Continued exposure to the FG Hangs will improve this.Yours in Fitness,Coach Sommer
