Hi everyone
Just been watching some still ring competition videos, specially the 90s where there were very little pauses in there routines............now i wish i did gymnastics when i was a kid.
Just wanna know though who is your favourite ringmaster???
Jordan Jovtchev.. With 38 years he can still manage to do some fantastic ring routines...
Yeah Jovtchev is definitely one of my favourites. But his inverted cross is a bit arched. But imagine his achievements, first ring finals in 1994 and he is still competing with guys a few years over half his age. And an amazing floor and allround performer in his younger days. My all-time favourite would be Yuri Chechi.

yuri chechi...i think if he were younger he can be the best one, perfect swing, planche, maltese,handstand impressive aligned crosses, straps that don't know the movement...i saw him before injury her biceps tendon perform one of the first inverted cross to maltese and inverted cross to planche....
Balandin is definitely my favourite among those who emerged under the new code. I believe he is one of the very few who can beat Chen Yibing. Who do you think will be Yibing's main threat in 2012?
Alex Bower, strong, good planche but he's only allowed to play with crosses.......but he's still young.
Isn't Alex Bower, Coach Sommer's pupil? And is Balandin or Pluznikov competing in the 2012 olympics?

The cost of flairing out the straight 1/1 is a .3 or great for step and chest low very uncharesteristic for chen.
