i didn't know where to put this i thought maybe it would go in here. anyway. i joined the gymnastic club at my college and i fell the other day on the vault. i went straight up flipped then came down on my lower back. i am taking the rest of this week off and all of next week but when i go back is there anything i should do to help work back into it. such as stretches, excersises, anything of the sort???

Reverse hypers. Lay on the vault table or on the pommel horse and lift up your legs to horizontal up and behind you.
I'd also do some very light swings on the rings just to loosen up your lower back. Leg swings ala ballet will also loosen up your lower back.
Scorpion stretch. Go easy on this.
Pike stretch and butterfly stretch.
You could also try hollow hold roll through arch to hollow hold besides arch rocks.
Is the are just tight, sore or what?
hey blairbob. i am just sore not really tight, i should also mention that i have a full spinal fusion so i can't do anything that requires back bending, such as rocking or back bends, i can do the stretches and the excersises just not the bending part. i go back tomorrow i will incorperate those into my warm up thanks, some of those were what i had already thought of trying anyways thank you!!!
