hi members i have a problem, now after had achieved the back handspring following the progression of the forum from bridge to handstand i have a friend who asked me to teach the back handspring to him...

now he doesen't have a good back flexibility, image that he wants to achieve the bridge but he can extends the arm and push the chest on the hands's line...i think that the bridge wall walks can be a solution...there is something else that i can do to improve his flexibility?

i am pretty sure bridge wall walks ae going to be your answer as well. I do not have goo back felibility myself yet. It feels like i do sometimes, but i don't becasue i have my wife take pictures of me doing bridge wall walks and i am not far down the wall at all. However, i can do those bridge things you mentioned (i have heard they are called bridge-ups) and i was not ever able to before i started coming to this web site. So, i think its just going to have to take some time

Lots of bridging in all forms.

One thing i found really helpful was lying over a bench.

One practice is to lie on a bench and begin to slide a little off, just the head, pause, then slide a little further and pause etc until the head is on the floor. All the while working on extending the spine and lifting it away from the bench.
