Quick Start Test Smith
True Protein! They make their own protein powder, mix it, and ship it directly to you. If you select no flavor and no sweeteners, it tastes almost entirely neutral and dissolves in water, tea, juice, and everything else really really well. It's the only whey powder that I can use.And it's very cheap because TP doesn't do ANY advertising. According to them, they don't need to charge as much because they have no advertising to pay for. I suppose the happy customers (like me) are enough advertisement.
RatioFitness
True protein has apparently had a lot of trouble with credit card numbers being stolen from people who use their site.
Larry Roseman
True protein has apparently had a lot of trouble with credit card numbers being stolen from people who use their site.It wasn't just them. It was their credit card processor, and beyond their control. This can happen on any website unfortunately.Paypal orders through TP are not effected though. There is a whole load of info in threads on protein powder selection. Unfortunately I tried ON extreme chocolate recently and am not impressed or even pleased. But I choke it down and hopefully it works! I like BSN tastewise but they are also fairly pricey and caloric.I bought TP non-fat milk protein isolate - 80% casein and 20% whey - just like milk - before.Though we are all hyped up on whey, a mixture of fast & slow protein has been shown to be as or more effective post workout than fast alone. It spikes early but then lasts long and prevents catabolism better. It is the balance of gain - loss that is important. Also it is good for the long haul overnight. Cole Dano
One reason to always use PayPal when its an option, it provides a second tier of security online.

Blairbob
Concentrate is cheaper but has some lactose. 2-4g of carbs per serving. Isolates are very bitter while concentrates tend to taste like flour or chalk. Yumm. Drink it fast or blend it into something. http://compare.ebay.com/like/260756595310?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar&_lwgsi=y http://www.nutrabio.com/Products/whey_protein_concentrate.htm http://www.a1supplements.com/Whey-Protein-25-Lbs.-p-19861.html You can go with a whey/casein or whey/egg, etc type of mix or simply just eat food afterwards. Most protein digests at a rate of about 5g/hr, whey about 10.
