Complete the following:

3 sets of Galimore, L-sit press shoulder stand, XR HSPU, negative Reverse MU down to an inverted hang, hanging L-sit, 360 Pull

5x15 seconds FL

5x15 seconds XR Strap HS

5x15 seconds German Hang

Finish the workout with 2x10 Wall Extensions.

notes:

1) Do not rest during the Ring strength series.

2) If Galimores are too demanding, choose another CPP variation that is more appropriate for your current strength level.

3) Progressions for developing the XR shoulder stand are found in the Basic Ring Strength 3 essay.

4) If the XR HSPU are too difficult, scale down with the most difficult XR dip variation that you are capable of.

5) You may use the feet on the straps to slow your descent during the negative Reverse MU.

6) Use the position of your choice during the 360 Pull that allows you to control the exercise while still being challenging. The ascent and descent of this element may both be performed in different positions.

7) Complete all 3 sets of the ring strength series prior to beginning the static hold position sets.

8 ) Rest at least 3-5 minutes between ring strength sets.

9) Perform the static hold sets as a single giant set; perform a set of FL, then move immediately to the XR Strap HS and then move immediately to the German Hang.

Thanks for posting this so early coach :)

I decided to swap the thur/fri workouts around. Ill do the Leg workout tmrw

Havent started Planche training yet due to my left wrist. Didnt sub it, just did a sorta tuck planche (if you can call it that!)

Also subbed XR HSPU for 2 Bulg dips+ Neg MU to just lowering down into invert.

I never realized my Bulg dips werent to parallel, have to remember for next time.

Apart from that what do you think? This is my first ring wod video :)

Oh and the first one i forgot to go into a tuck planche. Thats why i came down.

Great workout! (Also my first WOD)!

I'm pretty new around here (and definitely new to WOD), so I had one question. For the ring strength series, does the first 'note' mean that all of the movements listed are performed in succession, without dropping form the rings?

Thanks!

Galimores kicked my butt :) did about 10 rounds of today's series and barely got anything that would pass as one. By the end of the summer! ;)

My galimores felt like the best yet wish I had recorded to see. Fls are also feeling stronger. Looking forward to a weekend to relax. Felt lucky to get this work out completed uninterrupted bc im on call tonight for work. Have a great weekend!
