Reece Nugent Posted June 14, 2011 Share Posted June 14, 2011 Hey Guys,I have a question on how the best way to progress with both these exercises. Currently i can do a slow controlled negative down with both exercises, but getting up im getting no where. If i use momentum especially with the GHR yea i can get up but thats cheating!On the NLC i put out my arms like in the video to slow my decent, i just have no idea how to scale or measure the force (so i can improve) i use to help me get back up. I use my arms to help me get back up.The same thing happens with the GHR, i go all the way down into a arch up but once my body gets horizontal to the floor i have to use my hands on the GHD to help.So to measure my progress should i just keep plugging away at it or should i only go as far too where i have the strength to get back up? Id probably be doing 50% of the ROM then which i think wouldnt be too good but i dont see anything else i can do. Iv tryed using bands, they sorta help but Im on the lowest band (thinest) and it made it too easy for me.Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
