GHR & NLC Training

Hey Guys,

I have a question on how the best way to progress with both these exercises. Currently i can do a slow controlled negative down with both exercises, but getting up im getting no where. If i use momentum especially with the GHR yea i can get up but thats cheating!

On the NLC i put out my arms like in the video to slow my decent, i just have no idea how to scale or measure the force (so i can improve) i use to help me get back up. I use my arms to help me get back up.

The same thing happens with the GHR, i go all the way down into a arch up but once my body gets horizontal to the floor i have to use my hands on the GHD to help.

So to measure my progress should i just keep plugging away at it or should i only go as far too where i have the strength to get back up? Id probably be doing 50% of the ROM then which i think wouldnt be too good but i dont see anything else i can do. Iv tryed using bands, they sorta help but Im on the lowest band (thinest) and it made it too easy for me.

Thanks
