Hey

Ok so i had this idea, of a doing a manna position in a Victorian... i know neat huh? Well i have this young boy who is working it he does it in the dream machine, and we are doing a TONNE! of prevention work, and balancing work before starting to work it to any real degree on the rings but!!! well it turns out someone else had the same idea!, and can you guess who?...yes Danny Rodriguez!!.. Check out this sweeeeet skill (i am sure he will improve the position, but it is veryyyyy insane!!)...you will know it when you see it..

I saw this recently and wondered what he was trying to do. :D

Alessandro Mainente

is very similar to a low V cross

Kim Jongseong

Can i call Victorian is the ultimate skill? I mean Is it hardest movement to do?

I've seen some videos doing that but they still pike in the hips when they do that.

According to coach, the reverse planche may be possible; see this thread from dragon door: http://kbforum.dragondoor.com/kettlebells-strength-conditioning-forum/73821-reverse-planche-confusion-please-help-coach-sommer.html

You missread they didn't talked about true reverse planche

This is primarily a shoulder strengthening/flexibility element with a secondary emphasis on back strength.

This is the stuff like breakers do.

It's imposible like CTI, and I don't belive in that picture.

Reverse Planche Clarification

A reverse planche begins from a handstand. From there the athlete extends the shoulders behind the hands similar to a front limber, BUT with only a minimal amount of arch in the back. The body is lowered until horizontal to the ground where the static hold takes place. An advantaged athlete can then pull back out to handstand.

This is primarily a shoulder strengthening/flexibility element with a secondary emphasis on back strength.

The primary difference between a gymnastics and breakdancing reverse planche is that the gymnastics version is performed with locked elbows which greatly intensifies the difficulty of this element.

Gregor, I think this is the part you are talking about and I think this is like the hollowback from breakdancing.

Then there's a second paragraph which does seem to describe the "other" reverse planche- upper body in manna position with hips and legs extended horizontal to ground . :!: :?:

The second movement that people were confusing with a reverse planche (stomach up towards the ceiling with the body extended and hips horizontal to the ground) is called a high middle split hold. It is quite possible, I have several athletes who have nearly accomplished this element.

Till today's day nobody has done it. And nobody was close enough to be even rocgnized by code of points, it's even harder then front lever (2s) press to victorian.

The problem is to get hips in shoulders height.
