Perform:

1x10 Cast Wall Walks

1x5 Pike Box Press HS

1x10 Straddle Box Press HS

10 minutes of HS Wall Runs

Finish with 2x10 Wrist Pushups

notes:

1) Rest 1-2 minutes between Press HS sets.

2) If Cast Wall Walks are insufficiently challenging, you may perform PL Wall Walks instead. The key difference between these two variations is that the hands will remain behind the shoulders at all times during the descent and ascent of the PL Walks, whereas in the Cast Wall Walks the hands are directly under the shoulders.

3) Remember to adjust the height as necessary during the Box Press HS variations to ensure that the presses are sufficiently challenging.

4) If you cannot press to HS, then press to HeS.

5) If you are strong enough, replace the Box Press HS variations with Press HS from an L-sit on parallets or PBs.

6) If you exceptionally strong, perform the Press HS variations on the XR.

7) Rest 3-5 minutes

8 ) Spend 10 minutes performing HS Wall runs. Time spent resting does not count toward the 10 minute total. Strive to perform the 10 minutes of HS Wall Runs in as few sets as possible.

9) Rest as necessary, but strive to keep rest periods to an absolute minimum. Unless you are already extremely well conditioned gymnastically, this should be a very challenging workout.

10) You may increase the intensity of the HS Wall Runs by lifting a straight arm up to the hips during each step rather than merely touching the shoulder.

Im doing RLL with my head raised, couldnt do much because of yesturday.. suprised how i just didnt have the strength :/

When should i begin moving to the Box Press HS?

Is there anything wrong with just keep putting weights under my head untill i can do a straight arm or close to HS press? Like my head would still be resting on the plates/a box but my arms would be straight because of the hight of the plates/box under my head.

That's exactly how I'm building up to it. And I seem to be making pretty good progress from HS workout to HS workout.

Great workout! :)

Well since I can't do Handstand Presses, and don't have a "box" in my apt,

I did Headstand presses

They are 3 reps, and they are pretty crappy, but nice to have to remember as I progress and look back on them.

Any tips or comments welcomed!

Workout felt great today, best one so far for this specific HS day.

Cast wall walks x 8, 5*

Pike press HeS (head on 9" block) x 4,4,4,4,4

Straddle press HeS (head on 4" block) x 8,2

HS wall runs 1 min x 10 sets, 1 min rest intervals for first 7 sets, 1.5 min rest interval for last 3 sets

2x10 wrist pushups straddle position

*did well on maintaining body line on cast wall walks, felt good today

*pike press HeS with head on 9" block felt very solid, these are coming along nicely. Actually did 3 singles wall press HS with feet on 20" block and felt pretty good. Loving the progress with these workouts.

Great wod. Still.continuing.to.progress on hand stand presses. Next time will pull out the parallets for added difficulty. Handstand wall runs always a push as usual! Am in process of moving so still waiting for internet prbly no vid uploads for me this week.
