This just blew my mind! The way they throw themselves around in doubles and land on their backs or quickly twist sideways before breaking their necks are insane

That's insane! I've seen quite a few crazy Brazilians during my years in capoeira though, many of these guys just jump into any move they can think of without any fear. Lots of crazy acrobatics/tricks. Don't underestimate how many of them (capoeiristas) are in constant pain though. As Ido would say, there's no system to their madness.
The old man with the blue shorts seem to want to land on his back every single time.
It looks like they are tumbling on mulch
Did you see how short that one guy's amortization(ground contact time) was?!?! O_O
I'm talking about the guy in the brazil national color shorts, he's the one who does 5 front flips in a row on the ground.
I would love to see what their lower leg bone density is.
Wow that was impressive, but it reminds me of the cheerleaders at my gym. They just throw stuff and it always makes me cringe! I can't believe they don't get hurt more often. That's pretty cool how they made that makeshift springboard.
Yo, what if that's how Hypolito started gymnastics?! haha ![]()
HAHA that'd be sick ![]()
 . And people use think it was ballsy of me to do tucks on concrete (tucks that I had, not training them on concrete). This is just insane. That one guy in the blue shorts, how is his spine still intact? one landing like that for me would send a massive amount of pops and cracks through my whole spine, doing that on regular bases would just be plain scary.
hahaha this could only be here ...

Maybe he started with something simpler to endure his back, its like those Shaolin monks fighters, to endure their hands, they hit the wall with bare hands, 2 hours daily, they do head stands in concrete 2 hours daily 2, to endure their crane. this is similar in its own way.
