Thanks Alessandro.  What does it mean specifically "to lose tension in bottom half of the movement"?

Is that to say I am spending too long in the bottom position once my knee and lower leg have touched the ground?

Thanks.

NOpe, i mean that if touch and you transsfert more weight from muscles to the ground then you have to do much more effort to reverse the movement.

OK - so, featherlight touch on the ground maintaining tension?  Thanks.

Hey Barry, feel free to tag me next time...

well for the speed skate strive to barely touch the floor...because if you leave too muich weight on floor you finish to "switch off" muscles of the working leg...

Thanks - let me try.
