Hello,

My left hip seems to go lower than my right hip when performing a full squat, sometimes causing me to shift to my left side. How can I fix this? I've had problems with my right knee for several years which might have contributed to this issue. Any feedback/guidance would be greatly appreciated. Video link below:

The main probem here is the knee flexion that is restricted when increaase the tension on its tissues.

I'm sorry but i cannot help you because restriction can be both in muscles and joint, probably a therapist is the correct person.

Hello Allesandro,

Thanks for the feedback! Can you clarify which knee you suspect is restricted in flexion and why?

Thanks!

Eddie

the right one, this is one of the possible causes exactly as a limitation at the hips joint, if the knee does not flex then the upper leg extremity will be higher at the hip,as your case.

Hello Again Alessandro,

Makes sense, thanks for clarifying!

But just to be sure, are you saying there may also be a mobility issue in the right hip as well?

Thanks!

Haha Roger that. I'll look into seeing a therapist. Thanks again!
