Thanks

Hey Botond, this is a very nice attempt...my suggestion is to not lean with the straight arms before bending at the elbow. ideally the elbwos stay in place while the shoulder leans forward and mvoe downward..

@Alessandro Mainente from handstand the elbow stays in place, the forearm stays vertical if possible without any movement then the shoulder and upper body moves down and forward around the elbow right in a circular motion? So forearm stays in place? In other words to sync the elbow and shoulder flexion right? What about the body/core position/tension?

yes the forearms stay in place...it means that they should be always perpendicular to the ground at least from the side view (as much as possible). look at the pic below. yellow line is your inclination and this is wrong due to a straigth arms lean at the beginning of the pushup. green like what you have to do. the more the forearms stay vertical the more the force is exerted properly to the floor with less stress on wrists and less leverage on traps and anterior deltoid when it is not necessary.

shoulder and elbows must be coordinated. shoulder moves down creating a diagonal trajecotry with the horizontal distance from the elbow that has the peak when the upper arm is horizontal and then it is reduced as you reach past the parallel (if it is further increased it is because the forearm is no longer vertical). in the core section the abs shoulde be engaded and also the hips extensor.
