I was wondering where they should fit into guided plans. Had been working at foundation  2 then tore something in anterior shoulder so for past 2 years re-started at beginning again and plan to start intermediate 1 guided plan.  be grateful for advice

Hi Malcolm, did you have a specific examination at the shoulders? di you have a rehab?

Malcolm Lazarus

No. Just took my time and no longer any pain just less mobile and strong which I’m hoping to develop with programme

maybe i used the wrong words....do you know anything more about that did you tore in the shouder?

Not exactly. Had started Korean dips and thought progressing quite well. Previous recurrent anterior dislocation of right shoulder so was being wary of that one and felt a sudden tear at end range of movement at front of left shoulder. Stopped training for an interval then light kettlebell training then getting back to gymnasticbodies routine. Progress just been slower than hoped(maybe to do with being 60) but keen to progress. Have been enjoying slowly progressing on handstand IM’s including dislocates. Just wasn’t  sure of place these elements fitted into new scheduling.

grateful for any advice

Probably my best suggestion is fixing the shoulder instability and then going back to dislocates, for now I would focus on an essential range of motion that protects you from additional instability, so flexion ok, extension ok...dislocate no.
