a lot of strength to be built back up

Hey Eugene, we can look at one detail at a time. first of all, i want to see you changing the hip alignment in the opposite direction, i mean that you are using more APT (arching the lower back)..on the opposide we need PPT (reducing the arc) and hips extension...think about hips extension as a sort of "pushing the hips frontally" ..the hips...not the belly...
Hi Alessandro
It felt a lot easier with the readjustments.. not sure its 100% there though.
Good improvement, Eugene. Continue to work on posteriorly rotating your pelvis even more. Engaging your glutes as you try to push your hips forward (again, not your stomach) will help.
Thanks Jeffery
Re stomach pushing forward, do you mean at the 'bottom' position? (when chest reaches the bar).. and in that position to keep glutes engaged hips forward.
It almost looks like things can a bit slack in that position
How related are the engaging glutes and rotating the pelvis forwards?
eugene

They are related in the sense that if you begin from an anterior peòvic tilt the glutes help to reverse the position into the posterior pelvic tilt that is anterior hips tilt and then glutes still work on extending the hips . rotating the hips is not enough condition to consider the hips extended.
Again, feels closer to what you were suggesting. Its a completely new feeling in the body, but makes everything a lot easier....
Thanks

Better..in the long term try to not confuse the hips extension with the "belly out".....abs are still in tension!
