Hello when i am doing the single leg pike with one leg bent behind me on the wall as part of the Stretch Middle Split Series my Glute Med (at least i think this is what is seizing.) cramps on me and i have to come out of the stretch.  I have tried rolling with a massage ball prior to the movement but have had limited success.  Can you recommend some other measures to help prevent this.

Many thanks!

HI Kevin i'm pretty sure that you are referring to the Front Split series. IN this position the cramps are more related to tensor fascia latae. It usually happens as an inhibitory system fro stretching more the posterior chain...there isn't anything more that you can do. ad the posterior chain gets softer then the cramps won't appear anymore.
