Hi there,

I am unable to get into the starting position for these stretches as i cannot sit (even on a block) and get my hips parallel to the floor...i have to lean dramatically to the side with the outstretched leg.

Any thoughts how best  to progress this stretch

By the way I have had a RHS hip resurfacing operation a year ago now i have new titanium joints which has allowed me to actually raise my right leg to approx 45 degrees when lying on my side (big improvement) and restored some Internal and external rotation on that side however, the LHS still requires the same surgery,

i have ZERO internal rotation on the left side and can only raise that leg maybe 30 degrees when lying on my side.

The restore series are great i am finding and wish to keep on the FSS and MSS but am still severely restricted due to the dodgy hip.

HI Adrian well the limitation is not superficial. so, for now, raise the hips as much as you need (more than a block if necessary).

Will do thanks , and just checking with the correct form  the shin is supposed to lay alongside the quads or underneath ?

Exactly as in the course video.
