Hi guys!

someone able to give me some feedback on this one?

Doing this quite a long time now (1 year). Finally starting to feel that being tucked with the feet against the bar makes it easier to protract and depress the shoulders before starting the negative. But still my shoulders lack an enormous endurance after the first set and especially after this IM.

is it normal that this one is a sticky exercise that takes longer than the rest :). Maybe a step before this one that’s less brutal?

As always thank you all!!!!!

HI Cliff, personally i completely dislike this equipment. the reason is that the hands are supposed to be over the shoulders and not in front of it. if they are in the front you can use the lats to move the hips higher and in fact, it is what you are doing. do you have any type of different equipment?

Thx Alessandro for replying!

it’s just this or stahl bars without a row sticking out. I’ll post another one asap without the equipment.

Hi @Alessandro Mainente,

is this execution better?

I’m trying my best to compress and hold the top position before lowering but the highest part I can’t hold it for a few degrees. Is there a way I can train that last part of compression strength in some kind of way?

Hey CLiff, this is very good. in order to try the last part, you can hold half rep with one leg. this mean reaching the bar with feet, hold one of the 2 on the bar, move out the other one and hold it closer to the bar as possible. then move it behind the bar and do the same with the other one.

going better and better, but still needs a big swing for getting there. And the grip strength is really tiring especially without the rest between sets

Very nice...now do the change in the middle air. when one foot comes out the other one moves under the bar!

Hey @Alessandro Mainente,

Little by little getting there.

Still I keep wondering if the best set up wouldn’t be a stahlbar where the rod that I’m holding onto should be a little bit more in front? (Feeling that my hands and wrist are now starting behind the vertical axis of my shoulder, or is this the standard that we should attain in the future exercises?)

HEY Cliff, nope, this setup is perfect. now before taking off the feet try to point your toes so that you can gain a bit more of depth with the hips, then release the feet.
