Stretch Series with added weight

Hello,

With the 3x Stretch series, could it be recommended and encouraged to add some extra weight with some of the exercises to add a deeper stretch (controlled of course), if my own bodyweight is not enough?

For example:

- Holding a weight for the 10 reps of seated good mornings

- Barbell placed on traps during the pancake minute hold

- Placing a weight on the knees during kneeling Achilles

If there are other exercises people add weight to in the stretch series, I would love to hear it.

Thanks

Stretch and weighted mobility is 2 different fields with 2 different results and with 2 different requirements. adding weights requires more strength in the stretched position which produces much more stress on the joint component. I suggest this only if you already have maximized the range of motion in a particular exercise and only in case of a strong basic strength. for the general public so the answer is that is not necessary.
