Outer knee discomfort during vertical lunge stretch.

Last 3 weeks ive noticed some discomfort in the outer side of my knee when doing vertical lunges (bent and straight leg version) on my working leg.

I have lately been able to activate/squeeze my right glute, and this gave me an excelent stretch sensation in my hip&quad compared to before when i couldnt quite activate the glute in this position. Question is, maybe im doing to much of that? Core is tight and trying to keep PPT during the full 90 sec.

It started with discomfort on left side but now i feel the discomfort in both knees. Goes away after the stretch sessions but I for sure feel i need to adjust something.

Ive never had a knee-related injury before.

any advice?

HI Jonas, if before the last 4 weeks you were fine...then something happened in your knee. maybe too much work..maybe too much intense. scale down a bit the intensity for a couple of sessions and see how it goes.

Thank you Alessandro, My work-schedule have increased. Carrying weight up for stairs currently for 25-30h/week. Actually got sick today too, this is rare for me summertime. This aprove your theory.

Ill take a step back. Thank you!
