I have a question regarding this mobility exercise

i perform this exercise as shown in the follow along video on the stall bars and not as Wesley demonstrates on the tip video over a box

does it matter what is happening with my upper body during the exercise particlularly the arms and shoulders. As my shoulders are pretty fatigued from the strength element I favour just resting my arms on the stall bars and not having them outstretched and straight As they are in the follow along video

my thinking is as it is a glute med focused exercise that the upper body didn’t really matter but I’ll let you tell me otherwise lol

Many thanks

Hi Leigh,

As long as your legs are reaching hip height each time, any of the variations you mentioned are fine. Like you said, the focus is on the glute work.

Ok Everett that’s great thank you

MY personal suggestion is still the box, the flat surface permits the support of the lower back with more focus on the glutes.
