Can anyone explain the significance of these two movements in their relation to the Front Pull and Open Front Lever? They seem to require more thoracic mobility than core strength or flexibility.

Can anyone explain the significance of these two movements in their relation to the Front Pull and Open Front Lever? They seem to require more thoracic mobility than core strength or flexibility.
front lever makes my lats and ribcage feel really tight. i’ve seen guys who have incredibly strong front levers but didn’t do any mobility training have a hard time getting their hands overhead. so the inside and out motion not only opens up your shoulders, the transition gives an added side bend that also stretches the lats strongly.

These are meant to release the tension in your shoulders and core that result from front lever training.
This will ensure that you don’t get stuck in hollow position
