Cramping feets during pancake

Hi everyone!

Do any of you have experience with "cramping feets" while pointing the toes in the pancake stretches?

I did experience this in My first 3 months doing GB but it did fade away. However in the last month (month 12) its back, and possible a slightly tougher cramping this time because i can also feel it after My sessions(not much but enough for me to start pay Attention).

During pancake stretches i sometimes need to flex the foot for a couple seconds to make the cramp feeling fade away.

Whats the issue here? Am i going to hard and should reduce intensity?Or anything i might do wrong in my hips or toepoint?

All advice are very welcome and hugely appreciated. I do not go to a physio at the moment(in search for a good one).

all the best,,

Hey Jonas,

Have you been stretching the Front Split Series regularly as well? Most often cramps here occur when the tibialis is tight.

THanks Everett, I am working on all 3 stretch courses. The Tibialis stretch in the FSS is for sure very slow going for me. And Actually last 1-2 months i have scaled that exact stretch down alot to try feel the stretch more in tibialis than ankle. Did not realize where tibialis muscle was located until just a couple months ago. Ill keep work on this.

Appreciate your time Everett,,
