Thank you for any feedback! Did the best I could to get a good camera angle.
Hey @Brian Sparks
To help us better provide more accurate feedback, can you please film so that your entire body is in the video?
It's of upmost importance to have your body in correct hollow shape while performing these progressions.
No problem will work on that video, thanks.
@Mikey Cunanan Here's an updated video with full body in view for review. Thanks for the help!
@Brian Sparks
Thanks for submitting the updated video angle. Now I can clearly see what needs adjusting. As you can see from this video, your hips are piked, which significantly reduces the amount of resistance to your wrists.
You can fix this by stepping back to the balls of the feet so that your heels com off the ground. This will allow you to lengthen your body to form a hollow shape.
@Mikey Cunanan
Okay great I really appreciate the tips!
So just to be clear, hollow body shape (PPT + engaged abs), elevated shoulders, and hands roughly 45 degrees from vertical?
Also, should I be engaging shoulder flexion like in the HS PE1 seated shoulder flexion exercise?
Cheers

You are correct on all points!
@Mikey Cunanan tried to position the cues this week; hope this looks improved!

@Brian Sparks
Definitely an improvement! You are heading in the right direction for sure.
Let me share a screen shot with my poorly drawn lines to show the correct alignment for this exercise.
As you can see the red represents your hip angle and the blue represents the ideal angle.
Try imagining that you are maintaining a straight line from your hands to feet as if you were in a perfect handstand. Do this and you will notice a significant difference.
Man that's some first rate coaching: thanks!!!
@Mikey Cunanan Better?

Brian,
Much better! Your body line looks much improved.
It looks like you would have an easier time with these variations if your body was held closer to 45 degrees. If you walk your feet out a step or two while walking your hands down the wall you will be able to get full ROM through your hands and wrists.
See if that makes a difference for you.
