Hi!

What exactly constitutes one rep of this exercise ?  Is the entire exercise video (2 complete rolls on one side + 2 complete rolls on the other) one rep ?

Thanks!

Jeffrey Bittner

Hi Issa,

The course video shows 2 reps. One rep is a 360 degree roll to the right (back, front, back) followed by a 360 degree roll to the left (back, front, back).

So is mastery five 360 degree rolls to the right followed by five 360 degree rolls to the left, is it one roll back and forth five times, or does it not matter as long as it's a total of five rolls each way?

Hey @Josh Shaw

Great question! At this stage in your training the goal is to establish body control and positioning. To this end, a 360 degree roll to the right followed by a 360 degree roll to the left is ideal for 5 sets of 5 reps. This will ensure you are training both sides evenly, and not favoring your stronger side.

Once you have progressed to the later progressions in Movement One, then you can experiment with rolling multiple times in each direction.
