When I do the Strength exercise, I feel my muscles pull at the middle back on the left side. Is this normal?
Thanks,
George

George,
You definitely understand PPT, as well as tucking in the chest to create a movement that mirrors a vertical handstand. The next step is actually getting your shoulders flexible enough to get your wrists in line with the rest of your body and that will take a little time and consistent effort practice with dislocates. In your dislocates you need to get your elbows completely locked. If you cannot do this with a PVC pipe, please use a band which will be a little more forgiving. The muscles pulling on the left back side (or on one side asymmetrically), usually is indicative of some kind of strength or mobility imbalance.
Thanks

Hi George,
It is hard to tell from the side position if you are rounding your shoulder blades. The height is great and so is your bodyline and if you are rounding those shoulders you have mastered this!
The dislocates - make sure you try your best to keep those ribs in as you bring the bar forward and back. Keep a tight grip on the bar at all times and work to improve a narrow grip.
Keep it up George, shoot another video of the top of your shoulders!
One detail: keep your chin on the floor and look forward.
IF , with the shoulder in flexion, you cannot see your thumbs then the head is in a wrong position.
@Tanya Hill by rounding the shoulders you mean that I should abduct/protract them?
@Alessandro Mainente thanks for the feedback.
@Tanya Hill here is another video from the top of the shoulders. Any better?

George,
This video is so much help. Do you notice that your shoulder blades are coming together on your back? They need to be doing the opposite, the shoulders need to be spread wide across your back. Armpit face to the floor is a good cue i give when teaching this movement.
Does that make sense?
It does now. Thanks @Tanya Hill. I will take another video.
