I just want thoughts on my form if possible.

The problem is the lower back which is excessively arched. instead of reaching the position like this way, begin with bent elbows, flat hips, legs already in the final position and knees sliding on the floor and then lean forward until the knees with leave the floor.

Thank you. I will give this a try.

Are you concentrating on PPT when you slide into position like this?  The video in the Foundation series shows some arch in the back.  Do you have an example of a flat back that I could look at?

Alessandro Mainente

when you slide you should already have the PPT , also focus on straddling no more than 90° it is impossible to hold the PPT with a higher straddle.

I've been entering the iM as the course video shows it, from a squat. After trying your suggestion, Alessandro, it's much easier to get the correct position. And, not as many face-plants on the floor.

I think the course video should be re-shot to show this method.

Once you have understood the correct position I think that the course video it is optimal for developing the future variation especially in order to hold the correct body alignment. My suggestion it is just a transition in order to understand properly the body position.
