Ive just finished another cycle of static holds and was curious how seriously this week off must be taken. Does it mean absolutely nothing or will I get away with just doing some normal press-ups, squats, light rows and crunches just for high reps for the week? I find it quite hard to sit down at the best of times you see, so a week off any training will be near impossible for me.
Questions on light week at end of cycle.

At most, do some prehab and just get your blood flowing with really low intensity exercise.
For example, if you have a proper warm-up routine, you can do that for 30-45 minutes instead of 10-15.
My warm up routine is just of stretching. Guess it's gonna be lots of guitar practice next week then. lol.
Thanks for the feedback
What kind of stretching? Dynamic or static?
Static stretching. Why?
Static stretching causes a transient reduction in force output by the muscles. That's why you shouldn't do it prior to exercise, only after. Some would argue that you can do static stretching prior to the workout if you follow it immediately with a dynamic warm-up, as the dynamic warm-up causes the force reduction effects to dissipate.
Just to be safe I keep it to dynamic, except for a few cases like my neck.
