Hi all,

So added Movement to my courses and had my first go last night.

Quite enjoyed the warm up, although lizards needs work, are there any tips on the que's to use when doing the warm up exercises i.e. Straight Bear, dont let the legs bend?

For the Rock N Roll To squat, i found that when rolling into squat, i failed to get to the squat position without using a lot of force from my arms.  Should i do a few of the Front Split ankle/calf stretches before this to loosen up? If so any specific ones? Also for mastery should it be slow and control without momentum?

For the iM i tried this at the park as i haven't got stall bars yet, i was wondering where i should feel the focus? at the moment in my attempts i mainly felt it in the shoulders, should i be feeling it more in the hips?

Thanks Phil

Hi mate;

Glad you like it. The movement course is well fun :)

For the lizards the body will twist to an extent, but try not to over exaggerate this. I find it more comfortable to keep my hand not too far from my torso too.

Front split is gold for ankles. There's certainly no worry in using momentum here though, controlled IS but slow is not necessary. You won't be doing slow dive rolls :)

Thanks for the quick response Jon

Love the Stretch series as well, its making me find weaknesses everywhere haha, but I'm definitely getting stronger for it.

Think ill focus a bit on the lizard technique as all the others feel quite comfortable/easy in terms of mobility and flow of the movements.

Very true slow mo dives might not work too well :D
