Hi Jeff and community,

I already know portion exact measurements won t be given in Thrive 1, but i m having some troubles to know if i m really eating within the recommended portions. Coming from a vegetarian background and according to Thrive before i was just eating carbs and fats, so i think i might be overeating carbs and missing some protein. Some advice on it would be nice.

First i ll tell u all the carbs i eat in a day. Normally 100 gr of white rice or 500 gr of potatoes with lunch and dinner and 2 pieces of fruit during lunch and dinner? These portions are a bit less than 400 calories each.

That means a maximum of 1000 calories coming from carbs if we count also the traces in other food. Is that too much? I havent lost any fat doing thrive and maybe that s the reason.

My protein intake is for lunch 3  eggs or 100 gr of fish which provide both  about 20 gr of protein and for dinner from 150 to 200 gr of fish wich provide from 30 to 40 gr of protein. Does it meet the minimum requirement?

Thanks in advance!

yes it does meet the avg requirement. Don't be afraid of carbs, just stick to good ones. Do you feel hungry in-between lunch and bed at any time? I know you Spaniards live on a different clock than us Americans.

You mean between lunch and dinner? Yes, I need to eat some snack between lunch and dinner. Breakfast 8.15, lunch 14.15, snack 20.00 and dinner 22.00. Sleep at 00.30 or 01.00, wake up at 8.00. It s impossible for me to eat enough to get until dinner.

eat something between breakfast and lunch.
