Planche lean

Hi @Jo Christian Weldingh,
Nice attempt. You are rounding your spine too much for your planche lean. Your goal is to lengthen your spine as you protract and depress your scaps. It is better if you send a video of your planche lean.

Thank you for responding.
Which part of the spine, though? Am I pulling my ribs in too much, maybe?
Hi Jo,
You are rounding the middle part of your spine too much. It is much better if you submit a video for form check so we can help you better. ![]()

Here you go, Leo.
I was tired after running and stretching, so I wasn't able to hold it for long, but still.

Hi @Jo Christian Weldingh,
Thanks for sending a video. It actually looks okay. From the picture it looks like too much rounding of the spine. You definitely need to depress your scaps and maintain consistency because if you cannot hold it for long then that is not your range of motion.

I tried not to round my spine, as you said, before recording my form check. That's why it looks better ![]()
I can probably hold it for 25-30 seconds in training, but this was just a quick demonstration for the camera, as my shoulders were a bit knackered from the stretching earlier.
Thank you for the feedback, Leo!
