Hi Coaches

Could you please assess my HS/PE5 and im.

Quick question. how much weight should we be aiming for in terms of the bar we hold up in this exercise? Also for the mobility how much weight should we be aiming for and how close to shoulder width apart should our hands be with that weight before we consider progressing?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Hi Assad,

For the PE, be sure your chin stays in contact with the mat. You should just be able to see the bar out of your peripherals. A minimum of 2kg is enough for mastery.

A top angle of the PE will help us determine if your scapular elevation and grip are correct.

During the iM, avoid leaning forward and arching your back. Engaging your glutes and core will help you to remain upright. Also, focus on shrugging your shoulders to your ears as the bar passes over your head. Push the bar as high above you as possible.

Especially this point. you should extend a bit the neck so that the chin it is on the floor. this will simulate the handstand position.

Only for my curiosity, can i see your IM1 both side and front view?
