Hi I'd like to know if the end goal of these stretches in particular is to do them eventually with the feet on the ground and the shoulders pushing out over the hands (as long as there is no pressure felt in the lower back) or must the feet remain elevated on the stall bar?

Thanks!

Hi Derek,

Thanks for reaching out, good question. Yes eventually you would want to perform the bridge from the ground. However when doing the series it will build more strength in your shoulder girdle when keeping the feet elevated. For the static elevated bridge you can gradually work on gradually lower your feet so you get closer to the ground while you still remain the thoracic extension :) you may also spend a little time in this position after your series.

Ok thanks so bridge pushups are also meant to eventually be preformed on the ground as well?

Hi Derek,

That is correct. Eventually all exercises will be taken to the ground, however, this is only after the proper amount of refinement.
