Hi im having a big problem progressing from pe7 to se1 with straddle planche i have no problem holding the crow but the bent arm prone hold for 10 secs seems like a big jump im wondering does anybody else have problems with this

Hi Richard,

Can you please submit some form checks? Specifically, HBP/PE3, sPL/PE5, and sPL/PE5>iM. Those are the best place to start identifying the cause of sPL roadblocks.

Yes, the jump to SE1 is a big one and lots of us have struggled with it. You will get it with hard work. I found following the 10 second template worked well for building up the time.

As Everett said, submit those form checks and learn whatever you can from the feedback.

We've had a few threads about this, balance and leaning more than expected being points that keep coming up. Have a browse through some of those; people have charted their progress quite meticulously :)

Cool thanks for the replies ill make up and submit a few form videos. I have been doing some extra work 5 sets of 10 diving into the position and holding for a second or 2 not sure if this is helping or not probably too early in the process to tell

Nice, sometimes (usually) it helps going back for a bit to refine the basics :)

Looking forward to see your videos!

PPP are usually the first place to check on this one; many people discover they do not maintain their lean at the bottom and thus are not prepared for the depth of lean required for this position :)
