At the :13 mark.  Doing these really helped my tight chest/shoulders.  What are they called?  Would love to explore more variations and progressions, any recommendations?  Thanks!

Hi John,

This exercise from Foundation is called stiff legged windmill. There are plenty of similar exercises in the Foundation and Handstand courses and also the Stretch series :)

The progressions are built into the Foundations, and I'd reccomend to follow Foundation One. The Handstand course also focusing on building strength and mobility in the shoulder girdle :)

Hi @Pauline Taube, thanks for the reply.  Love the windmill.  The exercise in question is at the 13 second mark of the video, though.   The trainee places their feet on a plate (for less friction), and then 'pushes' themselves from a pseudo pike to full extension with hips cleared.

Hi John,

I call these reverse plank slides. I have covered numerous variations at seminars with Coach. You can find more info on exercises like these by putting into the search function keywords like shoulder extension, Ag Walks, and reverse planks. Also, like Pauline said about the windmills, the best way to prepare for these types of exercises is with the front lever progressions from Foundation One. F1 will prepare your elbows and shoulders to safely handle exercises like this.
