I looked through a couple other threads regarding this PE but remain uncertain how much piking/lower body movement is acceptable. The dips themselves feel pretty easy but would appreciate a form check. Front and side view provided. Thanks in advance.

Hi Dustyevsky,

Good work. A slight pike in the hips is all right, but try to avoid leaning forward.

Keep working on it, and keep us posted :D

Good work. Also make sure that you don't touch the bar until you have reached the bottom of each rep and don't bounce of the bar too. Keep working on it. :)

They look smooth. From my pov:

1) More depth is needed, down to sternum/xiphoid process

2) Try to move your upper body behind the bar as much as possible rather than leaning over it

3) Don't touch the bar

Hi Silvester the major issue here it s the hands position, they must be under the shoulders.

Thanks for the advice. I've tried to implement in this update:

Hi Dustyevsky,

The hand position looks good now. Nice job there. Here are my other tips:

1. At the top of the dip, press high, depressing your shoulders firmly, and attempt to completely straighten your body.

2. It looks like you need a little more depth so be sure you are lowering all the way to the bottom of your chest.

3. Fight to limit the amount of forward lean and hip pike during the dip. Do all you can to keep your body straight.
