In some of the exercises shown, some of the performers point the toes and others pull them towards themselves (in the same exercise).
Is there a difference? When should one do what? ![]()

In some of the exercises shown, some of the performers point the toes and others pull them towards themselves (in the same exercise).

Hey Michael,
Copy what is shown in the follow along/exercise videos as far as toe point. If multiple variations are shown, then either is fine. For example, in the side pancake stretch, you can pull back the toes of the leg you are leaning towards and grab them in order to help pull into a better position. The opposite foot (of the leg you are leaning away from) has pointed toes to keep tension through the leg. When in doubt, point your toes. Feel free to ask about specific stretches if you still have any doubts.
