GB team,

Got an update on both of my knees. MRIs showed no tears in both knees but cartilage worn and bone on bone in both knees. Doctor prescribed Synvisc-One injections.

Any thoughts on future knee healthy and continued improvement in performance are welcomed!

Thank you!

David

1. Be glad you do not need a knee surgery or two.

2. Do not be in a rush to progress quickly through the single leg squat elements.  Your body needs time to repair itself.

3. A number of mobility elements for SLS is for knee joint conditioning.

4. Do your own research into what the doctor's suggested/prescribed. You need to know what to expect beforehand.

For the sake of information: Yes, I have had two knee surgeries.

Great advices from Rayne-William. Doing the knee series in Foundations consistently will go a long way :)

just a quick note on the second point rayne made.... cartilage will take a long time so definitely be patient and dont push it hard.  be like the tortoise not the hare on this one. a year for example may seem like a long time to be recovering but it is a drop in the ocean when you think about a lifetime of strong functional knees.
