Hi George,
Things are looking okay.
On your headstand it looks like your hands are placed at a good distance from your head. You are piking up some pike in the hips. Remember to squeeze your gluts to help keep PPT while doing this exercise. I would also like to see a video of this exercise from the back so we can make sure that you are straight as you hold.
The iM needs a bit of attention. I recommend dropping weight while you are still gaining mobility in the shoulders. Your first goal is to be able to extend the arms to shoulder height. Once you can successfully do this, bring the hands closer together until they are no wider than shoulder width apart. After accomplishing both these things with little or no weight, you can start to add weight little by little.
Jeffrey,
Thanks for you comments above. Here is a video of me from the back and a repetition of the iM with a light bar and wider grip.

Hi George,
The iM is definitely better, but still some work to do.
90° angle/bar same level as the shoulders is imperative, hands distance should be adjusted in order to work with the bar at the same level as the shoulders. If you are not able to hold the bar at 90° the width is over your current ability. Therefore, it is recommended to increase the width until you are able to hold the bar at a 90° angle. Once you can successfully do this, bring the hands closer together until they are no wider than shoulder width apart....
Thanks

Hi George,
Thank you for posting another video. It's looking pretty good. As you hold your headstand, pull your elbows in closer to your body so that they are stacked directly over your hands. Your iM is improving. You are doing a nice job of sitting up tall while opening the shoulders.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks,
George
Would shoulder extension help with the IM ?
https://www.gymnasticbodies.com/are-you-training-shoulder-extension/
@Garry Barker not quite sure I understand your question.... But the HS/PE2>iM is a static standing shoulder extension with weighted bar, so you are training shoulder extension ![]()
Hi Tobias
I started training shoulder extensions on and off a few months back.
I noticed the HS/PE2>iM so had a go and could raise almost level so was thinking that this may have helped. Might be wrong though
