Hi
Im trying to get a better undergrip dip HBP/PE8 (more straight upper body), but i seem to loose my balance if i dont lean forward enough. Any tips of pointers would be appreciated.

Hi @Stefan Nielsen,
Awesome setup! Leaning forward is okay. Make sure that you keep those feet together and point your toes. Try to pause briefly on the top position. Make sure that your elbows are always locked on top of each rep.
Will try to correct the feets. Thanks for the reply

The focus point for this element specifically states that the purpose of the undergrip is to correct the unconscious forward lean that some athletes perform during their dips. Could we get some clarity on the requirements for mastery of this element?
The mastery should be the bar in between navel and sternum.
Thanks Alessandro. So would a forward lean, such as that demonstrated by Stefan above, be acceptable for mastery so long as one does not lean right into the bar and achieves the range of motion you have specified?
Yes @Julian Stephens
Thank you Leo and Alessandro for your help in clarifying this matter.
You're welcome!
For later dip progressions, you will need to strengthen your scapula depression muscles.
