Quick question?

Before doing core, lower and upper strength workouts should I do Daily Limber from Fundamentals as a warmup?

Alessandro Mainente

NIce point charlie yes you can. but consider that as you move to a general PE2 you have to use P1 mastery for warm up.

for example for upper body, if you have mastered 5x15 you can use the 15 reps of PE1 as warm up.

Hello Charlie,

Yes, perform the Daily Limber first and then proceed into a pre-strength routine as Alex discusses above.

So let'a say then that you love to PE5, how would you do the warm up? Would you keep PE 1-1xmastery rep, PE2 same thing, PE3.. etc or would you do it differently? I have been wondering a lot about warming up as it': well known how important it is. Do you have any insights? Thanks

No only the last element mastered. if you have to work on PEX you will use PE(X-1) as a warm up with his mobility.

Hello Federico,

Generally build to the point where you are able to achieve 2x the mastery level of reps in the previous PEs in a pre-strength series.  Nothing to be overly concerned about if you fail initially, just something to aspire to gradually achieving.

Note also that not all previous PEs need to be included in each day's pre-strength.  Feel free to mix it up as the mood strikes you.

Thanks both of you for your answers, that definitelly clarifies a lot of questions that I had lately. I think I will use tha approach coach said before, do a limbering to start, that an overall pre-strength and then dive into the actual workout.
